2020 Homecoming Festivities

The Centralia High School Student Council has been hard at work to prepare the 2020 Homecoming festivities.

The members, officers and sponsors have been working hard to have some sort of festivities for our 2020 Homecoming. As many of you have probably heard, our typical festivities, such as the dance, parades, pep assembly and bonfire have been canceled due to current COVID-19 guidelines and regulations. However, it remains our goal to still have some activities to look forward to.
We will still recognize our Homecoming royalty at the football game, which will be held at South Shelby High School with a kickoff time of 7 p.m. Also, we will have classroom door decorating and spirit days.

Classroom Door Decorating Competition:

Each classroom in our district has the opportunity to decorate their door relevant to our Homecoming theme “Welcome to the Danger Zone.” CES and CIS students/teachers will be decorating with their base room/classroom teacher. CBMS students/teachers will be decorating with their advisory teacher. CHS students/teachers will be decorating with their P.A.S.S. teacher.

Our Homecoming dress-up days for this year are as follows:

  • Monday: Military Monday (show your U.S.A. pride by wearing military clothes or patriotic colors)

  • Tuesday: Tie-Dye Tuesday (Wear your Tie-Dye)

  • Wednesday: Wild West Wednesday (Wear your cowboy/cowgirl outfits)

  • Thursday: Throw Back Thursday (Throw it back to the 80s)

  • Friday: Panthers just want to have fun (Wear your Panther gear)

Our Homecoming Court for this year is the following:
