CBMS Softball Completes Season

The Lady Panther softball teams continued to have a lot of success over their last few weeks of games. Both Lady Panther teams beat Hallsville, and lost close games to Macon. The A team beat Hallsville 15-6, and lost to Macon 4-3. The B team beat Hallsville 14-7, and lost to Macon 5-2.

Both teams were also successful against South Callaway, North Callaway, South Shelby, and Chillicothe. The A team beat South Callaway 3-1, North Callaway 16-3, South Shelby 18-3, and Chillicothe 15-0.  The B team beat South Callaway 5-1, North Callaway 11-10, South Shelby 14-2, and Chillicothe 6-3.

The A team ended the season with a record of 7-3, and the B team with a record of 9-2-1. The B team also came away with a first place finish in the Macon Tournament, beating Kirksville 9-6 and Macon 13-11. (The A team was unable to finish their Conference Tournament due to bad weather.)

The coaches and players enjoyed this season, and we look forward to seeing these girls compete in the years to come!
