Moss Hopes To Have ‘Positive Effect’ On CHS Students

By: Griffin Anderson, Contributing Writer

One of the new faces at Centralia High School is Mrs. Michelle Moss, a new Special Education Paraprofessional. Moss spent the past two years working for the Hallsville R-IV Public School District, where she worked with high school and middle school students. She is excited to be continuing her career in Centralia.

“I wanted to be a part of the school district my children have attended for the past 10 years. It has been very good to them, and I have no doubt it will be the same experience for me,” said Mrs. Moss.

Moss enjoys working with kids and this job provides her with that opportunity.

“I love helping kids learn and making a positive effect in the lives of these children,” said Mrs. Moss.

Moss is looking forward to being a part of a “great team” of colleagues at CHS.

Originally from Paris, Missouri, Moss earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Marketing Management from Moberly Area Community College. Prior to joining the education field, she worked in administrative support for over 13 years and was a stay-at-home mom. She has lived in Centralia for the past 10 years with her husband Jason and their three children: Landon (11th grade), Carter (9th grade) and Kenedee (8th grade).
