Mrs. Cindy Kempker joins the Chester Boren Middle School (CBMS) faculty, transferring from Chance Elementary School (CES).

Kempker graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She also graduated from the University of Missouri with a Master’s degree in Educational Technology.

Kempker teaches 7th-grade math at CBMS. She previously taught 2nd grade at CES.  Before coming to the Centralia School District, Kempker taught 3rd grade and 5th-8th grades in other districts.

Kempker has enjoyed her transition to the middle school. She has also really enjoyed living in the community for the past 16 years. “This is my 5th year teaching in Centralia.  It’s been great!  I could not ask for better co-workers and students,” Kempker said.

Kempker decided to transition to 7th-grade math because math is her favorite subject to teach. She said she looks forward to getting to know the students and teachers this year.

Kempker is married to Brad Kempker, and they have three sons together, ages 13, 11 and 8. They live in Centralia and love to support the Panthers.
