Dubes Prepares for Future Career by Joining CIS Staff

Brenna Dubes joins Centralia Intermediate School (CIS) faculty as a new paraprofessional.

Dubes graduated from Centralia High School. She is currently enrolled at Moberly Area Community College (MACC), and she is on track to get her Associates of Arts in Teaching by December.

Dubes decided to work as a paraprofessional in hopes of it helping her decide whether to become an elementary teacher or a special education teacher. She hopes to continue working in the Centralia School District after she graduates.

Dubes has learned a lot from working at CIS. She loves getting to know new things about her students every day.

“I look forward to seeing the progress currently being made with my students. I love knowing that I am able to help them grow as a student,” Dubes said.

As well as working as a paraprofessional, Dubes also works at a before and after school program. She has been employed there since her junior year in high school.

In her free time, Dubes like to go camping or to the lake. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
