Lexa Windle, formerly Lexa Brooks, is welcomed to Centralia Intermediate School as a fourth grade teacher.

Windle graduated from Central Methodist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She completed her Master’s degree in Teaching and Technology through William Woods University.

Windle was born and raised in Sturgeon, MO. Before she started teaching in Centralia, Windle taught for four years in Madison and then for five years in Moberly, making this her tenth year of teaching.

Windle said, “I have always enjoyed working with children. I love building relationships with my students and watching them grow as learners and individuals throughout our time together.”

In her free time, Windle enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also likes to “relax with a good book or watch movies and Netflix series.”

Windle says, “my time in Centralia has been wonderful so far. Everyone has been very welcoming and helpful in my transition to this school district.”
