Mrs. Dana Romine returns once again, to Chance Elementary School(CES) as a paraprofessional. Romine attended Moberly Area Community College and earned her Associates degree in applied science.

Romine previously worked as a paraprofessional in the district and wanted to “rejoin the district and be active in the community,” said Romine.  She was a paraprofessional for the Moberly School District for two years with the Early Childhood Education Program. Romine also formerly worked as a      Paraprofessional for four years in the Centralia School District at CES, CIS and CBMS.

Romine loves working with children and seeing them “get a concept for the first time, that ‘aha!’ moment,” Romine mentions.

She married her husband, Matthew Romine, in September of 2014. She has a 13 year old bonus daughter Raegan who is an 8th grader in Hallsville. She has a six year old son Bryson who is a Kindergartener at CES. She also has a 20 month old little boy, Bentley. “We love to have family game and movie nights when we can, and spend as much time as we can outdoors,” Romine explains.  Romine also loves to read, spend time with family and her friends.

Romine is looking forward to watching the students grow and learn throughout the year. “It has been wonderful getting back to working with the wonderful teachers and staff that I already knew,” she explains. Romine has also enjoyed getting to know the teachers that she had not previously worked with.
